This is a journal of the positive, to turn around the negatives in life and to look for the little things.

...Content
Spent today at home, attempting to feel better. Still have a massive headache, however, I'm very content. I have my lovely kitty on my shoulder now. It's been raining this evening and I had to check out the beauty of the rain outside. The view from the balcony may not be the most splendid, but it's green and wet. I love rain for how it smells, how it feels, and how it cools the air around. I'm not a summer person at all. Don't much like sweating. Working hard? Yes. Sweating due to heat? Nasamuch.
Zoey had to watch me from the patio door and cried a little wanting me to come back inside and hold her. That's who is on my left shoulder right now.
I'm relaxing to the quiet sound of the cars driving by on rain-soaked streets, the drip drops that fall, and the howling hello calls of Sigrid hunting for something nonexistent. I have my trusty cup of coffee to chill with. I find it ironic that we put coffee cups on the highest shelf where I can barely reach them and yet I'm the coffee fiend. You can never have enough coffee mugs. You can never have too many, either.
Missing my guy as he's off to spend time with his local bestie, and yet I'm just finding it awesome to spend time with the kitties. Tucked into my favorite grey sweater tonight.
