A Day in the Life of She Who is...
This is a journal of the positive, to turn around the negatives in life and to look for the little things.

Pretty Ridiculous eh?
Sigrid. That's all I can say. She wanted to be half by my leg, and half under the middle console of the couch. Cats are weird little things.

Foggy, but Functional
Week 1 of work is done. Weekend time! Time with Sarah and the gang later tonight. I've picked up a cough, either allergies or a chest thing.
Once the entire household is awake, I'll shower and hit the day. Should do more homework, but the brain isn't prepped yet.
Speaking of fluffy, fluffy pajamas. Happiness. Cannot go wrong with those.
Drinking coffee. There is this weird thing outside called, I believe, sunshine. I now get to see it. For awhile I was nightshifting it and rarely saw the daylight. Good to see what it looks like. Great for the Vitamin D too, if you go outside in it.

Energized
Well..mostly. I'm heading back to work today. First day back in over 2 months. I've missed being active and about. I'm nervous, because I'm still not the healthiest I've ever been. But here's to hoping it goes well and that after all the catching back up I'll be a wizard on the phone. Or...something. :)
Yesterday wasn't too bad. I mean, I was exhausted all day. However, I accomplished homework and jewelry. I made the necklace I'm wearing today. :) Day before that, I made Banana bread! Mmm and coffee. I won't drink coffee without creamer. It is heaven in a cup with creamer. So to summarize the last couple of days:
If you visit my Wordpress blog, you may have seen these. I like these two blogs for primarily photos. That one gets to have it all!

I've Neglected October!
I think I actually have one post from October. I haven't actually been going outside much. I've let the doldrums get hold of me a little bit and I've been a complete hermit. So! Here's our "first" snow. It's October, so I woke this morning to this light dusting outside. It's hard in Colorado to actually call it a First Snow. It feels like there's very little time between the last snow and hail moments, summer rushes past, autumn seems like all of a week, and then you get this.
I love Colorado, though. I'm thankful for this gorgeous state. Snow driving won't be too much of a blast, but eh...I'll get through it. I return to work Monday. Nervous, a wee bit. Two months out of work and not much for treatment to make things a lot better since. However, I'm giving it a shot anyway. Wish me luck!
Maybe I should condense my blogs? No one actually follows this one.

Reading
Yes, actually reading. The last few years, I've rarely ever read. This is so different from the books I devoured growing up. I stopped reading. I stopped writing. I stopped dreaming. Not sleep dreams. You know what I mean.
Today, I start reading again. Then I sleep! Tired.

Very, Very Tired
Here are some lovely things I've received in the last week or so. I have more to take pics of (pretty cards, things like that, a bookmark.) I'm very behind. The lovely Owl...I loves Merlin! The turtle still is awaiting a name, but he's an amazing surprise and now sits next to Scott's painting :)

Feeling on the Cusp of Greatness!
Okay, maybe not, but it feels like accomplishment to me. I've been pretty down because I can't do all that I'm accustomed to doing. I can't even clean house like I normally would. However, I took a few moments when I felt a little less "off" and worked on my kitchen. It may not seem like much, but to me, it was awesome getting my kitchen to feel like a warm and welcoming place again. I even put on some pinto beans in the crock pot the next day.
Warm feeling of home with the scent of eggnog candle stuff, hot coffee, and well...I just like our kitchen.
- Tonight was yumminess with crockpot pinto beans, a hint of shredded cheese, some meat and red peppers with a bit of picante sauce.
- More hot and yummy coffee. I've cut my coffee consumption down a lot in the last two weeks.
- I like listening to my honey in playing a game.
